Scott is absolutely in the moment. His eyes fixed on yours, as if to search for the meaning behind your words. He laughs easily, even when recounting the many memories of past experiences. "I had a pretty rough go of it these past couple years, but even in my darkest days, I've been comforted to realize that God has been so present. It was a situation where all of my plans were pulled completely out from under my feet and my life took a series of perpetual twists and turns," explains Scott. "I realized pretty quickly that I wasn't in control, and that God was using my circumstances to drive me toward Him."
