Since my teens, I’ve had an intense interest in interior design and the housing market. My first opportunity to put this interest to good use came in late 2006, when I bought a foreclosure in East Nashville to renovate on ‘Flip That House’, which aired in July 2007 on TLC. Once the renovation was complete I had to sell it! Drawing on my previous experience with home staging, I provided basic furnishings to the empty house and sold it for my asking price within two months.

My knowledge and experience of home remodeling and staging enables me to offer a unique approach to selling homes. Whether I use your furniture or mine, the staging enables the potential buyers to see a home that appears welcoming and comfortable. It enables you, the seller, to present a ‘home’ instead of a ‘house’, which is so valuable these days, with buyers relying more and more on online photos to draw them to the home of their dreams.
In June, 2008, I co-hosted an hour-long Real Estate question-and-answer radio program on Nashville’s WLAC. I am an optimist. I always see the glass as half full and believe half the fun of achieving any goal is the journey it takes to get there.
What do I do in my spare time? Like so many Nashvillians I enjoy songwriting, although my interest is simply a hobby and not the pursuit of a dream.
They don’t call it Music City for nothing!
