I am Meri West, proud owner of A Well Kept Home. I was raised in Western North Carolina, attended college at NC State and spent four years as an Air Force officer, serving in Boston, MA and Dayton, OH. I spent five more years as a Department of Defense civilian where I was transferred to Jacksonville.
I have worked extensively teaching disabled adults how to care and maintain their home and through that, transitioned into opening my own boutique style cleaning company. I paid for my own college education by house cleaning so I am not new to the business.
I believe strongly in being a good steward of the earth. I recycle and repurpose wherever I can. I buy in bulk locally to support other local businesses and to minimize my carbon footprint!
I also believe in giving back to my community. I donate time at local elementary schools, I donate blood, I give free cleanings to people receiving Hospice care. I give substantial discounts to senior citizens, veterans and teachers.
