Antique Auto Parts

Antique Auto Parts is just a couple of guys trying to make a dollar or two doing what we love to do, buy and sell classic car parts and build and restore show quality cars.

WD, or 'Dee' as his friends and family call him has been working on cars all of his life.  His dad before him worked on cars and together the entire family built several race cars that they ran at various local tracks in the area (Starkey, Lynchburg, Pulaski, etc).  They had a very successful racing track record running their famous 292 6 Cylinders.  But eventually they were forced out the racing business as larger and faster 454's were coming on the scene.  Dee ran a successful garage in the heart of Callaway before closing that down and heading for the teaching ranks of Franklin County High School where was the Auto Mechanics class teacher for 19 years.  He retired from that almost 15 years ago and has been restoring antique cars ever since. 

He has restored a 1937 Ford pickup, a 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe that won the AACA Grand National Competition in 2008 in Melbourn, FL, a 1935 Ford "Driver" Car, a Model A Pickup which won 3rd place in the AACA National Competition in 2005 and his own personal vehicle a beautiful 1936 Chevrolet.  He also helped Jonathan restore a 1972 Monte Carlo which was his first car and love and literally built his daughter's first car which was a Dodge Daytona.  There's nothing he can't do with a car.  What most people see as junk, Dee turns into a work of art.

Jonathan has worked at First Union National Bank/Wachovia now Wells Fargo for 17 years.  He is the computer specialist and has built this entire website as well as set up the accounts on eBay, Webstore and CraigsList.  He is slowly learning about the car parts and how to repair and clean damaged parts.
