My husband, John, and I met in college at Texas A&I University in Kingsville, now called Texas A&M University. This South Texas town was our home for thirty five years. There we raised two daughters, Shelly and Stephanie. I taught elementary school for almost 20 years, while John started out as a high school coach and ended up working for Kleberg First National Bank.
We moved to Round Rock in 1999, and had to learn how to drive in big-city traffic! However, we were introduced to the Highland Lakes Area and Lake LBJ by our daughter, Shelly, and her husband, Dale, when they bought a lake house in Kingsland. John and I fell in love with the Lake LBJ area, so much so, that in August 2004, the two families bought a small real estate company in Kingsland called Bob Jones Real Estate.
In 2005, John and I moved to Lake LBJ on a full-time basis. In 2007. both Shelly and Stephanie's families moved here as well. So, we've been blessed to have our kids and our four grandchildren so close to us. We feel fortunate to have found that "small town" feel again, in Kingsland.
Our family has worked hard the last couple of years to learn the area and become a part of the Highland Lakes community. We've been fortunate enough to move to a larger location and have changed our company name to Lake Time Realty. We feel these changes will help us better market our company, and ultimately provide better service to our clients. We are proud that we are family owned and welcome you to check us out!
