S.H.A.R.P. - Stabilization Home Affordability Revitalization Program is a 501c3 Non-Profit entity. With recent changes to the Making Home Affordable program "MHA" specifically H.A.F.A. non-profit entities are now allowed to purchase properties through a Short Sale transaction with the stated intent of keeping the homeowner in their home for the purpose of buying it back.

S.H.A.R.P. - STABILIZATION HOME AFFORDABILITY REVITALIZATION PROGRAM

  • Are you a working family who has suffered a hardship that has caused you to fall months behind in your mortgage payments?
  • Do you have a stable income (such as a salary, retirement/pension payments, Social Security, Insurance, etc)?
  • Is your home worth significantly less than the amount you owe on your first mortgage?
  • S.H.A.R.P. helps individuals going through foreclosure, remain in their homes.
  • Our participants have a stable income but are unable to make monthly mortgage payments due to a financial hardship like a medical or family emergency, or a reduction in work hours
  • This program is for homeowners who wish to stay in their home,repair and improve their credit and buy the house back within 3 years
