- Deck cleaning and sealing by Wood RE New includes a two step process:
- Step 1 begins by using an environmentally friendly wood cleaner containing no acid or chlorine bleach.
- This foaming cleaner kills mold and mildew and softens the dirt and grime that can then be rinsed off using a lower pressure than would have been necessary otherwise.
- Step 2 is the application of the penetrating wood protectant with semi-transparent cedar toner.
- We flood on the product using an airless sprayer to assure the volume of product necessary for proper protection.
- We follow that immediately with proper back-bushing to help work the protectant into the wood and control dips and runs.
