Dena Davis is a licensed Real Estate Agent and co-founder of the Davis Company. A life-long entrepreneur, Dena moved to Texas in 2000 after a decade of living in the Greater Los Angeles area. Searching out opportunities in Austin for her West Coast friends and colleagues, her timing was perfect for gaining entry into the booming real estate market.

Dena learned the local market from top to bottom and refined her investing philosophies. Dena and her husband and business partner, Monte, took that time to build their own considerable property portfolio. At the same time, they began seeking out deals for eager friends on the coast.

By the time she co-founded Davis Company, Dena had established a team of lenders, appraisers, and inspectors she could feel confident about sharing with her clients. As a former co-owner of an Austin based property management firm in charge of the management of 300 residential units, Dena realizes the importance of property location in attracting a good tenant base.

Dena no longer oversees the management of her own properties or the properties of the firms large client base but rather refers clients to property management that specialize in the location of the new acquisition.

“When I sell a property, I realize that this is not just a property purchase. This is someone’s child’s college tuition, someone’s retirement, someone’s rainy day fund. There is a real responsibility when someone chooses me to make that decision. It is not something I take lightly.”
