Optimize Your Flyers for SEO Greatness
One of the great features of using ClassifiedFlyerAds to advertise your listings is the potential SEO benefits. If done effectively, your flyer could end up on the first page of Google, just like most of our flyers do. Here are 3 simple (but very helpful) hints:
1. Title your flyer right - You may be tempted to title your flyer ad in a creative or enticing way, ie. "This Home is a Diamond in the Rough", or "Special on Car Parts" (depending on what you're selling, of course). However, this will not return quality results (traffic) from the search engines. Instead, be specific to what your flyer is advertising, for example, "Madison Tennessee Home" or "MagnaFlow GMC Diesel Exhaust". These are key words that will help your flyer rank well and bring in targeted, quality traffic.
2. Place relevant keywords in your description - When you write the description for your listing, be sure to use keywords that tie back to the title. Using relevant words and phrases that reinforce the subject of your title will show that your flyer has quality content, and thereby give it a better chance to rank well in search engines.

Use Service Flyers to Market Yourself
You might use ClassifiedFlyerAds to promote your eBay listings, and if so, you probably use the product flyers. Or, you might be an auto dealer or employer and use the corresponding flyers for you category. But are you aware of the power of the

The service flyer allows you to promote yourself. Whether you're a Broker, an eBay Powerseller, an Auto Dealer, or pretty much anything else, you can advertise your services on the web via one of our service templates. Simply choose the "Service Related Templates" option from the
template page, and create the flyer using the same steps you usually do.
A great way to increase web exposure is to create a service flyer at least once per week. If the flyer is titled with a search engine friendly phrase that your customers are likely to search for, it greatly increases your chances of ranking well in search engines. Additionally, if each week the service flyer is titled a bit differently, the chances are better that you'll show up in the search engines for a variety of searches.
The key to a successfully rated flyer title is to be specific, but realistic. A flyer titled "Real Estate for Sale" will not be nearly as successful as a flyer titled "Real Estate for Sale in Visalia CA". This type of titling will produce more
quality leads as well. In the same way, exclamation points, asterisks, and an overabundance of cryptic abbreviations will do nothing for your search engine ranking.

The Cost of "Free"
Everyone loves free stuff. After all, why pay money for something you can get without forfeiting any of your hard earned cash? I am not the first to say this, and certainly will not be the last, but FREE always has a cost - maybe not a direct monetary cost, but a true cost nonetheless.
For example, do you use a "free" internet service to promote your listings? If so, you may be surprised at all the little extras that "free" comes with. Like competing advertisements on your listings, limited features and usability, and unnecessary time consumption.
It makes no sense for a business to give away their services without getting anything in return... there is always a return.
How many leads, what amount of sales, and how much money might you be losing from visitors who click away from your listings to visit a competitor's advertisement?
It makes no sense for you to let competitors advertise in your area, yet this is what you may be doing by using a "free" site or service.
Oftentimes, businesses or services will provide free features with some sort of purchase or membership. While this isn't purely free either, they are tools that are available to you at no
extra cost, whether you use them or not. The monetary cost to you is disclosed up front, so you know exactly what you are paying for - this type of "free" is great and should be taken advantage of!
Be sure to research where you put your time, effort, content, and listings, and evaluate the
cost of free. If it is an acceptable cost, you may have found your spot! If not, if you are losing leads, sales, traffic and credibility, then get out of there fast. Run away and place your assets where they will pay you back.
VALUE is much better than FREE.

podcast interview, AuctionBytes editor, Ina Steiner, talks with Seth Godin about his new book, "The Dip: A little book that teaches you when to quit (and when to stick)". During their discussion, Seth talks a little bit about the way he sees eBay commerce:
