Did you know Sturbridge was founded in 1738.  The town government is Open Town Meeting, last monday in April, and has a 5-member Board of Selectman.  There is a regional high school Tantasqua, which services Brimfield, Brookfield, Holland, Sturbridge and Wales. Burgess Elementary is K-6 and Tantasqua is 7-12.
