Petition: Bail Out America. What do you think?

We keep hearing on the news about the billions and trillions of dollars that needs to be spent to bail out America.

I know that I am going out on a limb and possibly ruin my reputation, but if we are going to pay taxes on this mon.ey, that congress is going to spend anyway, why not bail out the American People? That's you and I and not Wall Street and other industries.

We know that the stimulus packages did not work last year.  The billions of dollars that was given to the bank has not helped others with accessing credit. Who knows how the bail out is going to help the car industry. Can you believe that the porn industry is now seeking a bail out?

Why not bail out the American people? I have a simple solution and am looking to get at least over a million signatures to send along to congress and really see how much they care about the American people.

Please read in full before you base your opinion on what I am suggestion.

My solution is to give any household, ownership or rental, a real stimulus package. The qualifications are as follows:

1. Household income is not more than $250K for the year. People who make more than that, get a tax break for a year. Believe it or not, they are hurting as well. It affects everyone.

2. At least one person in the household must have worked at least part-time or be a business owner that produced some kind of income and/or paid taxes last year. The key is to have at least contributed to the tax system, because that is where all this mon.ey is coming from and how we are going to repay the debt.

The stimulus package should be as follows:

1. Non-married person over 18 to get $5,000

2. Married couple should get $10,000.

This is what it would do for the economy:

1. Help someone get caught up on mortgage loans, rent or even get homes out of foreclosure. This obviously helps both the real estate and banking industry. It also helps the landlord  keep his/her properties and save mon.ey because it will stop court evictions.

2. Help someone get a cheap new car or a decent used car. This obviously helps the auto industry.

3. Help someone get caught up on credit card debt so they can afford regular every day bills and other needs.

4. Help feed a family of  for at least 1 year. This helps the grocery stores and saves on wasted food supply.

5. Give someone a much needed vacation. This will help out a stressed out family, with a heart attach around the corner, and will also help the airlines and the travel industry as a whole.

6. Allow someone to get new clothes, a computer, electronics, or any other product they desire within reason. This would help the retail industry.

7. Help business owners pay for overhead so they do not have to go out of business. This will also help keep locals employed. Reducing the unemployment claims.

8. Help those that are passionate about a charity or cause be able to pursue it and contribute to it. This obviously helps the non-profit organizations that are hurting.

9. Help a family that needs medical insurance or receive medical assistance, to be able to afford it  for the next year. This obviously can help someone to obtain medical attention from at least a clinic and reduce the strain on the hospitals.

10. Pay car insurance and/or mortgage insurance. This obviously helps the insurance industry.

11. Help someone pay for an attorney that has a lawsuit against them, the IRS after them, or any other legal issue. This helps the legal industry, which helps towns, counties and states keep judges and others employed in the local area.

I am sure you can come up with many more ideas on how much that mon.ey could help stimulate the country and I would love to hear them.

It does not matter if you agree or disagree with the bail out.  They are going to spend it whether you like it or not. End of story.

The way I see it... The government is going to spend it on something like banks, car industries, etc.. and if so, why not us? The American people know what they need and will spend the mon.ey accordingly and get the country stimulated again. All congress has to do is give us, you and me, the mo.ney to do it. 

I truly believe, that if each household were to get $5,000-$10,000, we Americans, can get this country back on track in no time flat!
