Is it a great time to buy?

It is a great time to buy Real Estate.  Right now there are some great deals, you need to have someone looking for the deals that fit your needs.  I read this morning that Alan Greenspan said we are in a mild recession but he expects it to blow over by next year.  The financial market has been tagged as a tough time to get financing.  We all feel the recession but recessions don't last and I feel confident as the year progresses and the election comes to an end we will see the market settle down and go back to normal.  Now don't expect the housing boom we had three years ago but it should go back to a normal pace.

I will repeat their are some great deals.  Short sales, foreclosures and people needing to sell like normal.  I believe the housing market has bottomed out and has nowhere to go but up.  In the last couple of months I have seen a dramatic shift in buyer's really starting to look for homes.  I have also seen an increase in financing avaialbe.  In the rural areas you have 102% financing on the appraised value of the home and in some cased buyers are able to walk to the closing table with no money down.   If you don't qualifiy for the rural financing then in our declining market you can get 90%-95% financing.
