Great News is beginning to surface for HomeOwners nearing Foreclosure. Anything that the government can do to lessen the blow helps all housing market sectors. This is a very important move NOW because even the mortgage Insurances guarantors are teetering on closing up shop for home mortgages which would be a very serious blow to the housing economy! This will mean seeing less homes in the Cobb county Georgia area go back to banks....looks like we are beginning to see some very smart movement! In the end for investors in Securities, banks and homeowners in general, it's about the long term conequences if everybody does not compromise and bite a smaller bullet as opposed to sitting tight, doing nothing and bite the cannon ball down the road, so to speak!
Better it be that Investors take less of a blow now than have to unload a multitude of foreclosures and really loose money.
The Bush administration, facing a worsening housing slump, has announced a new initiative that is aimed at helping homeowners about to lose their homes by putting the foreclosure process on hold for 30 days.
