401-K's in the tank, cost of everything seems to be going up, taxes keep going higher, jobs are hard to find that will pay us enough to maintain our lifestyle.
Seems like going out to eat is a thing of the past as we are forced to eat at home and even have to bring a lunch to work!
We all find ourselves cutting back on our spending. Gonna have to put-off buying that 85 inch flat screen TV with surround-sound.
Vacations are limited because we can't afford to fly to the tropical islands this time. Driving to the beach in Florida is about all we're able to afford this year and that may only be 2 weeks because we've been told by our employers that we can't take all 5 weeks at one time any more 'til things start to pick up around the plant.
We've sealed off 3 of the 5 bedrooms in our homes to conserve on heating and air conditioning.
The pool and hot-tub may have to be opened later this Summer and closed earlier to save on operating cost.
Looks like we're going to have to find an alternative way to stay in shape because the gym membership has expired.
We may have to let the cleaning gal go and the groundskeeper and do that stuff ourselves for awhile to conserve on spending.
Can't seem to sell any of our SUV's because of the gas prices. We're forced to use one of the other cars in the 3 car garage and even have to car-pool with others or, worse yet, use public transportation! Man!
Times are real bad! Don't you wish you could go back in time to the "good old days"?
