Nursery
Nursery, for some the word conjures up images of pastel colored walls, brightly colored mobiles, and a crib standing in the corner. For others it conjures images of toddlers receiving tender loving care at the hands of skilled workers. These nurseries are, of course, for babies. Places for our little ones to be taught and nurtured so they can grow strong and healthy.
There are other nurseries though, and if you are a landscaper they are the kind of nurseries you should become acquainted with. Let’s face the truth; the only place to get the kind of plants that really make a landscaping job stand out is at a nursery. Sure plants can be found at practically any home improvement store but have you ever really looked at those plants? They tend to be poor specimens, over stressed, wilted, and many times disease ridden. Is that really the type of greenery you want for your landscaping projects. Of course not.
In order to make any project successful you need the best materials, after all you wouldn’t build a new deck with half rotted lumber. Half rotted lumber would, at best, last half as long before needing replacement, and at worst would fall through the first time you tried to walk across your deck. The same principle applies to landscaping, if you use less than the best quality plants you can expect some to die during transplantation, some will linger weakly for a season or two and never recover their vigor, some will live but won’t grow, all will be less than satisfactory.
In order to get the best you need to buy from a professional nursery, such as the online nursery, dntnursery.com. When you buy direct from the nursery you will get only the highest quality plants, plants that haven’t been exposed to the stresses of multiple transplanting, long distance shipping, or long days under the care of less than skilled horticulturists in the home improvement store. Plants purchased direct from the nursery will grow better, are less prone to die-out, and are much more trouble free than those poor wilted things sitting in the outdoor aisle.
