ActiveRain - Fun and Beneficial

I recently signed up on ActiveRain, a network of real estate professionals who share stories, tips, listings, and just about everything else under the sun. I've got to say, that after just the first week of lurking around there, I've found myself captivated... no addicted... no obsessed . The first thing I do when I get to my desk is log on and get browsing, even before I check my e-mail.

You may be thinking, "How sad, another poor soul got sucked in to a fruitless blog site and can't get out". Oh, but you're wrong. It isn't fruitless at all! Active rain blogs often get indexed by Google and other search engines, which we all know increases traffic and visibility. Also, there are plenty of ActiveRain success stories to silence the nay-sayers.

Okay, so the real reason I'm going on and on about this site is that, well, it's fun! You get to post blogs (who doesn't like to share their two-cents?), add associates, enter contests, make and receive comments (a lot of that goes around, as this is quite an opinionated group of people), score points, and make friends!
