Acquire information on the most current developments and trends in the Nurse Practitioner field, through educational programs, in-services, professional associations and literature. 9. Participate in quality assurance activities and/or clinical trials. 10. Assist surgeon in operating room consistent with training and experience following policies, procedures and protocol, if necessary. 11. Write pre-operation and post-operation orders under the direction of a physician, if necessary. OTHER DUTIES Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on equivalent basis Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s Degree in Physician Assisting KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES Strong critical thinking, problem solving and attentiveness to detail required. Ability to communicate orally and in writing clearly and logically. Ability to analyze information and solve problems. Demonstrate accuracy and an attention to detail. Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences clearly and concisely orally. Ability to maintain confidences.
