JOB FUNCTIONS
- For Hospital Pharmacists: High level of proficiency compounding, labeling, and dispensing of medications and IV admixtures; providing therapeutic drug monitoring by profiling physician orders; supervising technicians in their daily duties; and providing p
- Use standard techniques and procedures to process written prescriptions issued by physicians, dentists, and other qualified prescribers.
- Verify dosing regimens, including review of therapeutic duplications, allergies, and diagnosis.
- Participate in the development and continual monitoring of patient drug therapy treatment plans and patient outcomes in clinical specialty programs.
- Perform patient assessments and monitor the effects of drug therapy using clinical symptom, evaluation laboratory data.
